The Stuart was pretty rough inside. but restorable! The half track was in good shape but the data plate listed it as an M2. But it was a repro plate. It was defiantly an M3. Doc, it actually wasn't an auction, it was a sale. They let people in by number, it was kinda weird. We got there at 0300 hours to get in line. I was number 14. Guy #1 was a buyers agent, and got there at Midnight. They went down the list and offered the vehicles sight unseen at listed price. The first guy bought three of the vehicles right out of the gate. The carry all went a little later. That being said there was lots of parts. I cashed out 3 times and everytime I went back in I found something else as people moved stuff around. I did get a complete wiring harness for a song. Paid for my trip. Did run in to some other halftrack guys too from the Seattle area. So that was a plus. Very happy with what I found!
