Wow, I just did a search and found out it happened at the Rowland property who owns Jelly Belly jelly beans. Here is another article http://www.kcra.com/news/adult-dies-after-being-run-over-by-armored-vehicle-near-fairfield/34864636. I noticed at Tower Park that that they were kind of wild driving around. It's to bad it had to be him. I wonder if it was the the HST or his tracked APC. It was not the halftrack as it is tan with Israel markings. Here is some video from a news report on the accident http://fox40.com/2015/08/22/pedestrian-killed-after-being-struck-by-armored-tank/.

Tragic…and a blow to the community.  As with guns, a healthy respect for the dangers associated with the vehicle and responsible ownership is the key.  Hopefully there aren't knee-jerk reactions to this that spawn new laws…

The reporter identified the M5 HST as the vehicle. He only showed a picture and again, improperly identified it as an armored vehicle.

i met Herman Rowland at the littlefield auction. he was the second highest bidder on the m16 halftrack that sold for over $200,000
from one report it says the driver of the tank was hermans daughters husband. i feel bad for him.
