An old Army buddy of mine just came home from a trip down to Southern California. His grandfather just past away and he was down for the services at the Riverside Veterans cemetery. He scanned in some of his grandfather's WW2 photos. His grandfather was the 1st SGT of a company in the 23rd Armored Engineers from 40-42 before becoming an officer in the 17th Airborne (WIA in Op Varsity).
Not sure if anyone has HT 11002, but I thought I would share the photos in case someone was looking for the history of their vehicle.
Also included his form 7860 showing his "driver's license" for Car, Halftrack and Tank, light among other vehicles of the time. I actually went digging in my old records for my DA Form 5984-E "Operator's Permit" which has M1 Family, M992, M113 and 2-1/2 Ton and Below but sadly no Car, Halftrack.
