halftrack motor mounts
« on: December 29, 2015, 02:16:03 PM »
Finally stumbled onto something that will work for motor mounts on the halftrack. Was doing an engine swap on my Jeep with Novak parts and the upper mounts are perfect for the halftrack, the lower are too big around but I am going to put them in the drill press on a bolt and grind the diameter down with a side arm grinder. They are at the bottom of this page right below the headers and cost $49  http://www.novak-adapt.com/catalog/engine-mounts/mmx-wc1/ They are solid urethane not hollow like the jeep transfer case mount.

Darth,
I'm looking at getting the set of motors mounts on ebay, which I think is the same set you have.  Did you get them installed?  If so, how did they work?

Sadly, no. I'm still waiting ever so impatiently for my motor to be completed.
They look like they'll work just fine though!

And no guesswork involved hoping they will work.  Kevin's stuff has never failed me!

This page has been awful quiet for a while.  Anybody have any current info on where to maybe find some of these now?  Thanks in advance.
