M3A1 Frame Number

After much cleaning, sanding, cussing, etc, I have found what I believe to be the frame number off our M3A1.  From the left side frame behind the wheel:  259177.

Does this sound right?  The "2" is iffy.  The remaining numbers are clear enough to read.

Assuming the number is correct, any way to determine the hood number and/or Ord. Number?

No other numbers visible and the data plate is missing.

If its been through a rebuild the numbers could be stamped in other places too. You can also check the rear suspension/bogie frame on the vertical outer surface. Also, possibly the front bumper on the top horizontal surface.
