How are these held down?

Can someone help us out and let us know how the two floor panels circled in blue below are held down on our M2-A1?  There appear to be no holes and for some reason I was thinking that I saw that they were welded in.  These, of course, would've been located under the ammo boxes on the M2 and one would be halfway exposed on the M2A1.  Advice is much appreciated.

Those are welded down. Mine has several welds approx. 3/4" long.

Hi Corey,

I am trying to get my head around how the rear armour is attached to my White M2A1.
I seem to need some lengths of 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 1/4" angle iron and some flat strips.
I see you have these parts already assembled.
Could you please post some detail pictures of how the armour is attached to the rear bed and in the rear corners?

My angle iron is 1.5” x 1.5” x 3/16”.

Your angle iron is bolted to the track armour and your side armour bolts to that. Then you have joining plates to join the side armour together, again 3/16” thick.

Paul's facebook page has a blueprint type drawing at the top of the page of an M2 that shows the battens, maybe that will help.

I guess I stated my request wrong, I need drawings or photos that show the connecting pieces of metal, flats or angles and their measurements.  I have some of them but need to know how and where they attach, and their measurements, as well as figuring out what I need to finish.

I looked through all my pics (there's a lot of them, lol) and didn't see any pics of the bottom of the bed unfortunately.  It's hard to get pics and measurements of what you're wanting with the bed already installed, but I'll see what I can do.
