My father was a member of the 611th tank destroyer bn. at the onset of WWII . He loved halftracks and told me many stories of his experience with the machine...sadly he passed before I restored this machine...Clarence is the name of the community and family Church...

Halftracknut,
Clarence is an OUTSTANDING H/T. I still remember the look on my Dad's face the first time he saw my M2 H/T. He had a grin from ear to ear and could not wait to help with the restoration. Dad was in the 1st Cavalry Division, and saw action in the South Pacific in WWII. He helped save the POW's at the Santo Tomas Camp in Manilla, after several island beach head invasions prior to going into Manilla.
Out Here,

Is that an ungarnished net hanging on the side or something else?

What is the box strapped to the left side? Also, did you happen to take a pic from the other side? I'm interested in what guys use to accessorize their track.
Thanks, Tom
