I took the M-2 and the 57mm AT gun up to a local car show on saturday,as usual it was a big hit with the kids, and the parents after I told them the kids could climb into it for pictures, I also got to talk to a lot of veterans, for many it was the first time since their service that they got to hold an M-1 garand or carbine, to show the difference between small town America and many other places this event was held at a grade school, the only thing they wanted to make sure was that there wasn't any live ammo near the guns!
