Looks like someone will be looking for a M16 chassis in the near future!

Nice find Don!

Went up and picked up the bed today! The track I'm going to put the bed on a halftrack that was a M13 converted to an M16. Probably in the A2 configuration.

 WTG Don,
M16A2 is a neat track. Probably rebuilt by B&M in the fifities.
You mention a M13 frame. I have restored M13 ser276576 ord1040. It was converted by White in 1943 to a M16. Do you have a frame serial or ord # on yours?

1941 White M2
1942 White M4A1 was M4
1942 Autocar M2A1
1942 Autocar M3-75
1943 White M13 rebuilt as M16
1943 Diamond T M3A1

The ord# is 1374, what does it tell you?

By the way that your tag is stamped your HT is the 484th HT rebuilt by BM completed in 3/1953 and RDE was the inspector. Your tag does not seem to have the crossed cannons stamp on it though. What has me confused is that mine was the 1465th rebuilt in 5-52. So why is my date earlier than yours but the rebuild number higher? Unless I am not seeing a 1 in front of the 484? And also you have an actual BM tag where as I, along with several others I have seen have a White M16 tag on my Autocar?

Lots of questions, now to figure out some answers......
